Three kinds of statement
School-specific rule
Identify the tradition, text or method, with premises and internal variation. Procedural reconstruction and real-world effects receive separate evaluation.
Claim requiring testing
Document test conditions, comparisons, results and limitations; accept negative findings and avoid selective reporting.

Ethical boundaries
- Explain scope, fees and cancellation, allowing people time and freedom to decline.
- Do not guarantee wealth, cures, investment returns or relationship outcomes, or use fear to drive upselling.
- Direct health, legal and investment matters to appropriately qualified professionals.
- Respect autonomy and protect minors and people in distress; decline or end a service when appropriate.
- Collect only necessary data; obtain permission and adequately de-identify case material.
- Describe qualifications and affiliations accurately; prohibit bought titles, fabricated assessments and traded certification decisions.

Teaching and assessment quality
Published criteria
Eligibility, scope, tasks, criteria and accommodations should be available before application.
Review mechanisms
Calibrate marking with examples; document significant disagreements and refer them to another reviewer.
Appealable decisions
Explain results, reasons, review scope and appeal routes, with protection from retaliation.

- An effective version should include
- Approving body, version identifier, effective date, scope, change notes, transition and appeal arrangements.
- Changes of name or entity
- Preserve the historical issuer, certificate identifier, standard version and continuity of responsibility.
